| | The non-profit Foundation is comprised of board members who volunteer their time, expertise and talents to carry out our Mission. One salaried employee and a number of volunteers support the Foundation Board. | | We support hospices in providing financial assistance for any patient in financial need during this difficult time. We may buy food, pay for utilities and/or other items needed by families. | | In addition to assisting indigent hospice patients, our long-range goal is to construct a hospice residence for St. Tammany Parish for patients who have no caregivers or who do not want to be hospitalized, but cannot be cared for at home. | | Hospice patients have been given diagnoses of terminal illnesses with generally less than a year to live. The patients can usually remain at home among loved ones. Caregivers are supported by hospice nurses and assistants, social workers, chaplains and volunteers. Thus, pain management and comfort enable patients to keep their dignity and independence. | | Memorial Donations Other Donations Bequests Fund Raising Activities | |
